1. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to every business owner and staff member using Store Seba to create storefront content, list products, receive orders, communicate with customers, or appear in the public marketplace. It supplements the Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and future Acceptable Use and Prohibited Products policies.
The business owner is responsible for the store and for actions taken by invited staff. A permission to perform an action does not remove the seller's responsibility for that action.
2. Seller eligibility
- Have legal capacity and authority to operate the business and accept platform terms.
- Maintain required registrations, licences, permits, tax records, and sector approvals.
- Offer only products and services the seller is legally allowed and practically able to provide.
- Provide accurate owner, business, contact, billing, and domain information.
- Complete identity, business, payment, or risk verification when reasonably requested.
- Do not create replacement accounts to avoid suspension, debt, restrictions, or enforcement.
3. Business identity and transparency
A seller must make its identity and contact route clear to customers. Store name, business description, support information, payment instructions, delivery coverage, and customer policies must be accurate and not imitate another business. Domains, logos, trademarks, and branding must be used lawfully.
Sellers must not imply that Store Seba manufactures, endorses, guarantees, fulfills, or directly sells their products unless Store Seba has provided explicit written authorization.
4. Product listing standards
- ✓Use truthful product names, descriptions, specifications, sizes, materials, origin, condition, and warranty information.
- ✓Use images and logos you own or are authorized to use; images must represent the offered product accurately.
- ✓Place products in relevant categories and identify brands honestly.
- ✓Disclose pre-order, made-to-order, used, refurbished, customized, digital, fragile, perishable, or restricted characteristics clearly.
- ✓Do not publish hidden fees, unsupported medical or performance claims, fake reviews, misleading urgency, or deceptive comparisons.
- ✓Remove or update unavailable, recalled, unlawful, unsafe, or materially inaccurate listings promptly.
5. Pricing and promotions
Prices, currencies, taxes, delivery charges, discounts, comparison prices, coupon conditions, and pre-order deposits must be accurate and disclosed before an order is placed. A crossed-out or comparison price must represent a genuine lawful reference price. Sellers must honor valid promotions and must not increase hidden charges after checkout.
Coupon usage limits, product scope, eligibility, dates, minimum order requirements, and exclusions must be configured and described consistently.
6. Inventory and availability
Sellers must keep inventory, product status, variants, availability dates, and pre-order expectations reasonably current. A seller should not confirm an order it cannot fulfill. When stock or timing changes, the seller must update the listing and promptly inform affected customers about available options.
7. Orders and payments
- Review orders promptly and use accurate confirmation, payment, cancellation, and fulfillment statuses.
- Verify payment through approved evidence and providers; never request a customer's password, PIN, or one-time code.
- Issue required receipts, invoices, or transaction records.
- Protect customers from duplicate collection, unauthorized substitutions, and undisclosed changes.
- Investigate suspected fraud fairly and keep appropriate records.
- Do not mark orders delivered before actual delivery or completion.
8. Delivery and fulfillment
Sellers are responsible for delivery areas, charges, estimates, packaging, courier selection, tracking updates, proof of delivery, failed delivery, loss, damage, and customer communication. Estimates must be reasonable and must not be presented as guarantees unless the seller can honor them.
Pre-order and made-to-order products require clear expected availability, deposit or payment terms, cancellation rules, and updates when timing materially changes.
9. Customer support and complaints
Sellers must maintain a working customer contact route, respond professionally, investigate complaints in good faith, and provide clear next steps. Sellers must not intimidate customers, suppress legitimate complaints, demand removal of truthful feedback as a condition of support, or send unsolicited messages unrelated to the transaction.
10. Returns, cancellations, and refunds
Each seller must publish and follow a lawful customer-facing policy addressing cancellation, delivery failure, incorrect or damaged products, returns, replacement, warranty, and refunds. Seller terms must not remove mandatory customer rights. Approved refunds must be recorded and communicated accurately.
Store Seba subscription refund rules do not replace a seller's responsibility for customer purchases.
11. Customer data and security
- Use customer information only for legitimate, disclosed order, delivery, support, accounting, security, and lawful business purposes.
- Limit staff access to the information and operations needed for their role.
- Do not sell customer information or add customers to unrelated marketing without a lawful basis and required choice.
- Do not export, publish, share, or retain personal information unnecessarily.
- Protect accounts, devices, files, payment references, and downloaded information.
- Report suspected exposure, account compromise, or unauthorized access promptly.
12. Staff responsibility
Owners must invite only authorized people, apply least-privilege permissions, review explicit grants and denials, remove access promptly, and monitor important activity. Staff must act only within their role and must not attempt to bypass hidden menus, denied operations, tenant boundaries, or account controls.
13. Marketplace visibility
Only eligible public store and product information may appear in Store Seba discovery pages. Marketplace appearance does not mean Store Seba endorses or guarantees the seller. Sellers remain responsible for every public claim and for keeping linked storefront information current.
Store Seba may remove a product or store from marketplace discovery without closing the storefront when content is incomplete, low quality, misleading, disputed, unsafe, prohibited, unavailable, or creates platform risk. The final listing-control feature will let owners choose whether eligible products participate.
14. Records and cooperation
Sellers should retain appropriate product, order, payment, delivery, refund, tax, consent, and customer-support records. For a complaint, safety issue, suspected fraud, legal request, payment dispute, or policy review, Store Seba may request relevant information. Sellers must respond truthfully and must not alter or fabricate records.
15. Enforcement and appeals
Depending on severity, history, urgency, and risk, Store Seba may provide guidance or warning; hide a product from the marketplace; restrict a feature; require verification or correction; suspend staff, storefront, payment, or account access; preserve records; or terminate service. Immediate restriction may be necessary for fraud, security threats, unlawful goods, serious customer harm, or legal requirements.
The final policy must define notice, correction periods, evidence review, appeal route, repeat violations, urgent actions, and reinstatement criteria. Sellers may use the Contact page to request review and should include the store, affected listing or order, decision, and supporting evidence.
16. Contact
For seller-policy questions or a policy review request, contact Store Seba with the relevant store name and details.
