1. Overview
This policy applies to Store Seba's main website, accounts, dashboards, marketplace, and seller storefront software. It should be read with the Privacy Policy, which explains how Store Seba and independent sellers handle personal information.
The current V1 uses a strictly necessary authentication cookie and browser storage needed for shopping and order-related functions. Store Seba does not currently describe advertising or cross-site tracking cookies as part of V1.
2. Technologies we use
A cookie is a small value a website asks a browser to retain and return with later requests. Local storage can retain information in a browser beyond the current tab or session. Session storage normally lasts only for the current tab or browser session. These technologies may contain identifiers or application state, but the browser controls how they are retained and removed.

3. Essential session cookie
When an authorized owner, staff member, or administrator signs in, Store Seba sets an authentication session cookie. It lets the server recognize the signed-in session, apply account and tenant access controls, and protect restricted pages and actions.
- It is inaccessible to ordinary browser scripts through the HttpOnly setting.
- Production uses secure transport protection so the cookie is sent over HTTPS.
- SameSite protection is set to Lax to reduce inappropriate cross-site sending.
- It applies across the relevant Store Seba domain path and expires with the session's configured end time.
- Logging out replaces it with an expired value.
Because this cookie is necessary for the requested account service and security, disabling it prevents sign-in and dashboard use.
4. Cart and order browser storage
Seller storefronts use local storage to remember cart contents for the relevant store. Order-confirmation experiences may use local or session storage to retain necessary confirmation state and avoid repeating certain automatic download behavior. This information remains on the browser or device unless the application or user removes it.
Clearing this storage can empty a cart, remove locally retained confirmation information, or reset a one-time browser action. Customers should keep their order number and contact details separately when they may need to track an order.
5. Analytics, personalization, and marketing
The current V1 policy does not identify optional advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-site marketing cookies. Store Seba must not add such technologies silently. If optional analytics, personalization, advertising, or social-media tools are introduced, Store Seba will update this policy and provide an appropriate notice and preference mechanism before using them where required.
A future preference control must make rejecting optional technologies as understandable as accepting them and must not disable strictly necessary account or shopping functions.
6. Independent sellers and third parties
Store Seba provides the storefront software, while each seller controls its business, products, customer relationship, and any approved third-party tools it connects. Sellers must not add hidden trackers or incompatible scripts, and they remain responsible for giving required notices and choices for technologies they independently introduce.
Hosting, security, email, payment, monitoring, domain, or other service providers may process technical information required to deliver their services. Their own websites and externally opened services may use cookies under their policies. Store Seba should publish the final production provider list in its privacy documentation.
7. Your browser choices
- Use browser settings to view, block, or delete cookies and site data.
- Log out to end the active Store Seba authentication session on that browser.
- Clear local or session storage to remove retained cart and order state.
- Use private-browsing controls when appropriate for a shared device.
- Do not rely on browser deletion alone to close an account or make a formal privacy request.
Blocking essential storage may prevent login, carts, checkout, confirmation, and other requested features from working correctly. Privacy requests can be submitted through the Contact page.
8. Changes to this policy
Store Seba may update this policy when browser technologies, providers, domains, features, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated. Material changes involving new optional tracking should receive additional notice and renewed choice where required.
